The dashboard

The dashboard is at https://api.docslice.app/app. Sign in as described in Get access. It has four sections.

Overview

  • Your plan and a bar showing how many pages you have used out of your monthly quota, and how many remain.
  • The renewal date. The quota is counted per calendar month (UTC) and starts again on the first day of the next month.
  • Recent use: the latest 50 conversions with date, file name, pages and result.

API keys

Create a key by giving it a name (1 to 60 characters). The full key is shown once, in a red box, with a Copy button: copy it before leaving the page. The list shows the name, the first characters of the key, the creation date and the last use. Revoke asks for a second click, so a stray click does not remove a key. You can have up to 10 active keys. More in Authentication and API keys.

Profile

  • Language of the emails: Italian, English, French or German. It applies to the codes and links DocSlice sends you.
  • Change password: enter the current password and a new one. Your other sessions and remembered computers are ended; you stay signed in here.

Delete account

Deleting your account is final and takes two steps, each with a red warning:

  1. A first screen lists what you lose: all API keys (they stop working at once), your usage history and jobs, and the data linked to them. It also says that backups are erased within 30 days. Press I want to delete my account to continue.
  2. A second screen asks for your password and your email address, typed in full. Only then does the Delete permanently button send the request. Cancel takes you back without doing anything.

The deletion removes your data immediately. It is refused while you have conversions in progress: wait for them to finish and try again. Backups are cleared within 30 days.
